The Lamborghini Urus SE doesn’t pretend to be sensible. From the styling to the performance to every stitch in between, it’s proudly ridiculous. This year, Lamborghini turned the SE into a plug-in hybrid, making it the brand’s first PHEV super SUV. No alarms. No apologies.
Under the hood, a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 teams up with a 25.9 kWh battery to deliver 789 horsepower and 701 lb-ft of torque. You also get roughly 37 miles of EV-only range, which feels both responsible and completely unnecessary in the best possible way.
The SE starts at $276,741 this year, but ours had over 30 upgrades, bringing the total to about $89,000. Here’s the full list:

After a long weekend with the Urus, I get it. Lamborghini didn’t just build a fast SUV. You can spec it to absurd levels, and in a world full of identical SUVs, subtlety is a choice. Lamborghini didn’t pick it, and I respect that.
