Video games and cool cars go hand in hand. Some of the most popular video games ever made revolve around driving, and let’s be honest, you’re probably not choosing a boring sedan to cruise around town. I bet you would choose a bright pink Nova, a bright blue Viper, an orange E30, or a white C8 Corvette, though.
That’s where eBay comes in. The team at eBay Live brought together four incredible cars inspired by gaming culture and invited us out to Los Angeles to drive them. Our mission? Pick up the cars, put each one through a series of driving challenges, and get them ready for SEMA. But that’s not all that’s going on here.

eBay has long been a place for car enthusiasts to find everything from hard-to-find parts to accessories and even entire vehicles. Now, they’re bringing cars to eBay Live for the first time, giving enthusiasts a chance to discover some pretty incredible builds and bid on them in real time.
Here’s what we got to drive:
● The South Beach Supercar – 2022 Chevrolet Corvette C8
● The Street Icon – 2006 Dodge Viper
● The Classic Getaway – 1992 BMW 325i Convertible
● The Hot Pink Hi-riser – 1975 Chevrolet Nova

The Most Wanted Collection is kicking things off with four cars inspired by iconic video game rides, each modified using parts and accessories sourced from eBay. And before they could head to Las Vegas, we got to spend a day putting them through their paces.

The whole experience was set up like a real-life video game. We picked up the cars, headed to a closed course, and completed a series of driving challenges in each one. And yes, we actually got to drive all four! Once we’d finished our missions, we delivered the cars to a warehouse, where they were handed off for transport to SEMA.

And here’s the fun part: these aren’t just show cars. All four will be auctioned during the first marquee eBay Live event for vehicles, streaming from SEMA 2026 in Las Vegas on November 5 at 12 p.m. PT. Actor and automotive enthusiast Sung Kang will be hosting, and viewers will be able to bid live. Each vehicle starts at just $6(!!!), and 100% of proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Jesse Kiefer, Vice President and General Manager, eBay Live. “For 30 years, eBay has helped automotive enthusiasts find their dream vehicles and the parts to make them their own. The eBay Most Wanted Collection brings that passion to life in a new way, showcasing what’s possible through the eBay marketplace while giving fans a fun new way to discover and bid on these cars on eBay Live. It’s an exciting next step in how we’re bringing enthusiasts closer to the cars and communities they love.”
So, the same cars we spent the day driving around LA could end up in someone’s actual garage. Which is a pretty great way to bring a video game fantasy to life, and it’s all for a good cause.
Tune in to eBay Live on November 5 at 12 p.m. PT at ebay.com/mostwanted to see the auctions.
